A hand-knotted Agra area rug. The rug features a central floral medallion in deep blue and pink on a black field. The field is populated by large floral palmettes and blossoms in deep red, pink, powder blue, and taupe and is enclosed by a compound border. The border features a Baluch style pattern with a continuous half hexagonal geometric vine and floral blossoms throughout. It has an overcast edge and a short wool fringe to either end. Unmarked.
