Antique Cast Iron Coal Scuttle

An antique coal scuttle made of cast iron. This 19th century coal scuttle has a cast relief impression of a Satire’s face with foliate and scroll motifs and verbiage that reads ‘Corneau Freres, A Charleville Ardennes’ the foundry mark. It has four peg legs. No maker’s marks present.
