A set of two watercolor paintings on paper by listed New Orleans artist Nestor Frugé (c. 1916 – 2012). Each piece depicts a sunny European street scene with pedestrians walking along alleys lined with quaint awnings and lanterns, set against a backdrop of church spires. Each is signed in red paint to the lower left. The paintings are matted in white and presented under protective glazing in beveled wooden frames fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- minor wear and abrasions to frames; staining and foxing to matting; dust and smudges to glass; wear to verso of each.
