A pairing of 19th century coin silver julep cups. Included in this collection is a coin silver julep cup engraved with the name, ‘Vincent’. This cup features a decorative milgrain edge to the top and bottom rim. It is marked to the base with the, ‘E. & D. Kinsey’ mark dating from 1854-1858. Also included is a shorter julep cup with initials engraved to the front. This piece features a reeded top and bottom rim and is marked on the base, ‘Scovil & Co.’ Scolvil & Co. was active in Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1830s. The total approximate weight is 9.670 ozt.
