Item Details
A mixed media composition titled Solomon’s Poem by listed, American artist Leonard Maurer (1912-1976), created in 1967. This work depicts an abstract composition of a falling figure rendered with ink, acrylic, and gold leaf on torn paper. It is signed and dated to the right edge. Additional inscriptions and label attached to the verso. This work is presented matted and housed in a gold-toned wood frame under glass; fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- toning and small watermarks to mat, paper to the verso contains watermarks; chipping and wear to frame; glass could benefit from being cleaned.
