Early Early 20th Century Turkish Anatolian "Herati" Kilim

Item Details

An early 20th century handwoven Turkish Anatolian Herati kilim. The dark navy center field has a modified Herati pattern in hues of gold, rust, teal, and light blue. Surrounding the field is a compound border with some abrash . The primary border is a fanciful floral motif in complementary colors accented with diagonal guard borders. Tied cotton warp fringe on the ends and there are pockets for hanging on the wall on the reverse.

Condition

Overall in good condition with some fraying on the warp ends.
