A World War One ‘Souvenir de France’ commemorative lace. This silk and lace textile is embroidered with the images of American General John ‘Black Jack’ Pershing and Marshal of France Ferdinand Foch, set within floral borders and ahead of their respective nation’s flags. The words ‘Souvenir de France’ frame their images, and the lace is bordered with a dark gold-toned triple border.
