A facsimile oil painting on canvas, signed ‘Uther Mason,’ after Lord Frederic Leighton’s (1830-1896) Flaming June.This work depicts a sleeping woman in a yellow gown, her legs pulled close to her body and her head resting in the crook of her folded arm. This piece is signed to its lower right and is presented in a molded frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.

- canvas is somewhat loose; dent to the center of canvas; light wear to frame finish.
