An antique Neoclassical style walnut secretary. This rectangular top secretary features a top cabinet with tambour doors and decorative handles opening to eight storage compartments. The facade features a curved drop down panel opening to a writing surface with green leather inlay, central storage compartment, and four drawers with brass tone knob handles. The lower unit features three full width, stacked drawers with dovetail joinery, oak lining, brass tone decorative plates, and ring handles. The plates feature an urn motif with drapery swag and a central bust. The drawers are flanked by recessed stiles featuring brass tone decorative ornamentation depicting a ram, drapery swag, and urn detail. This piece sits on tapered and fluted feet.
