A vintage Louis XVI style bergère chair. This piece features an arched crest with winged stiles curving to form closed arms with cushion rest and carved hand holds. The chair includes an oversized, removable cushion seat with bowed front, carved seat support rail and carved rosette blocks. The piece rises up on turned, tapering, fluted legs including acanthus carvings and ending in blunt arrow feet.
