Hand-Knotted Persian Nain Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Nain area rug. The rug has a central roundel medallion over an ivory colored field. The medallion, field, and spandrels are decorated with foliate motifs in a palette of cream, ecru, light blue, and navy. A principal border of meandering palmettes surrounds the field. Cropped cotton warp fringe is present at either end. Unmarked.
