19th Century Duhme & Co. Sterling Silver Cup and Spoon
Item Details
A sterling silver cup and spoon by Duhme & Co. of Cincinnati, OH. Duhme & Co. was founded by brothers Herman Duhme and John H. Duhme, active from 1844 to 1896. The cup features reeded borders along the rim and base with a personalized engraving to the front, and the spoon has a pointed oval bowl and a flared handle with engraved floral design and rounded tip. Each is marked ‘Duhme & Co.’ and for silver fineness on the back/bottom. The total approximate weight is 5.755 ozt.
