A collection of early 20th century German silver handbags. This group includes a mesh bag featuring bead accents to the base, a chain handle, an intricate frame with scrolling lilies in low relief surrounding a monogrammed D and a kiss clasp. The interior of the frame is marked ‘German Silver’ with a maker’s mark. The second mesh handbag in this collection features a chain handle, a frame embossed with an acanthus design, marked with ‘German Silver’ and a maker’s mark, and a kiss clasp. The smallest bag features a metal body with a blue bell motif in low relief. It has a curb link chain handle, a kiss clasp, and is marked to the interior ‘Ger. Silver’.

- significant tarnish, with some wear to base metal, monograms on two of the bags
