An oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts a Yeshiva boy seated in a home study, wearing a kippah and tallit katan as he holds a siddur and looks to the side in contemplation. The work is unsigned and presented without glass in a beveled gold tone wooden frame embellished with raised gesso accents to the edges, and fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to Fair; abrasions to canvas along top edge with areas of paint loss; surface wear and dust to painting and frame; wear and scuffing to frame finish.
