Chinese Lidded Urn and Japanese Red Tabi Socks
Item Details
A Chinese lidded ceramic urn and pair of Japanese tabi socks. Included in this collection is a Chinese lidded porcelain ginger jar. The jar has an ovoid gold tone painted finial to the lid and is decorated in an allover floral, butterfly, and geometric motif. The palette is orange, peach and blue with green accents on white. It is marked to the underside with a ‘Made in China’ sticker alongside a stamped Tongzhi reign mark, however, the piece was produced in the mid-20th century. Also included is a pair of Japanese red fabric two-toed tabi socks with toggle closures to the sides.
