Item Details
An oil painting on canvas, titled Rider Leaving Town. This Impressionist painting depicts a lone rider on horseback trotting away from a clustered town, as their dog follows alongside on a plane of grass. The composition is rendered with daubs of earthen pigment. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature appearing to read ‘Heathay’. The painting is presented in a bronze tone wooden frame with hanging wire and a typed tag denoting the title to the verso.
