Santos Wood Carving

Item Details

A hand carved wooden Santos figure. Figure is freestanding and carved from a single piece of wood. He is wearing a robe and head wear of some kind and appears to be carrying a satchel as well. There is a hole in the top of the head, as well as where the hand used to be. Arm is extended as if to carry or hold something. No marks or signatures found.

Condition

Nose is missing or worn down
Missing both hands, one arm broken at elbow
Chips, nicks, dirt and surface marks throughout
