Art Pottery Including Roseville "Fallïne," "Sunflower" and Grueby Faence

A selection of Art Pottery including Roseville. Included is a simple Grueby Faïence green matte vase, showing the maker’s throwing rings to the exterior and having a pale green, slightly crazed liner glaze. It is stamped to the underside with the circular ‘Grueby Faience Co. / Boston U.S.A.’ mark to the underside, and a production number or date. Also included is a Roseville Sunflower wall pocket, having a sunflower pattern in yellow relief with a honey amber matte glaze and pale green foliage and one with a honey amber sunflower form in low relief, unmarked to the underside. Included is a A Roseville Pottery Falline Blue vase. This vase has two handles and an oblong rounded body and is presented in the Falline Blue pattern featuring a glaze that fades from rust to green and finally to blue with a pea pod design on the sides. The base of this vase has an original label marked “Roseville Pottery”. Also included is a small antique milk jug, having scarlet floral detail in relief over an ecru glaze; unmarked.
Condition
- wear and crazing to glazes on the pitcher form; general minor wear consistent with age; green vase has deep chip on underside, with the chipped fragments included.
