An offset lithograph on paper after a painting by noted Kentucky artist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917). This impressionist style work, titled Daydreaming, depicts a shoeless boy sitting by the side of a river watching a fisherman. The piece is signed in plate to lower left and is number 1721 in an edition of 3000. It is presented in a double mat under glass in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with a wire to verso for hanging. A paper with the artist’s biography and information about another of the artist’s works is attached to verso.
Condition
- print has shifted to the right under mat; dust on glass.
