A set of the first eight volumes of The Story of Civilization by Will and Ariel Durant. This set includes the first eight volumes of the series, from Our Oriental Heritage up to The Age of Louis XIV; The Age of Louis XIV is a first printing, published by Simon and Schuster in 1963. All eight volumes are bound in red cloth-covered boards. Also included is a decorative red fabric book cover with metallic accents.
