Pre-Prohibition Fulton Whiskey Jug
Item Details
A pre-prohibition Fulton whiskey jug. This aquamarine glass jug is embossed to the shoulder, “Myers & Company Dist. Pure Fulton Whiskey Pat AP Covington, KY U.S.A.” The lipped opening is fitted with a cork stopper. The company was founded by Malcolm Fulton in 1817 and stayed in the Fulton family until 1887 when it was purchased by Henry Myers.
Condition
- no chips or cracks; some accretion to the glass; the cork is removable.
