French Style Marble Portico Clock

Item Details

A decorative marble mantel clock, in the French 19th century style, having a portico case with brass finials and cast brass mount to crest. Below is an inlaid cloisonné border frieze and columnettes, flanking bobbin turned pillars. The case rests on cast brass bracket feet. The brass works have a hammer and bell chime and enameled pendulum, featuring a clipper ship. Manufactured late 20th or early 21st century. Includes a winding key, working condition untested.
