An assortment of three abstract mixed media compositions on canvas boards by listed American artist Ronald Ahlström (1922-2012). Composed of acrylic paint, ink, various paper scraps, and other materials, these works feature geometric designs, two of which are non-objective matrices of geometric shapes. The third work features a bust portrait portrayed in a Cubist style of angular polygonal shapes and layered paper fragments; this work is not signed. The other two compositions are signed to the lower right; they are also signed to the versos with additional handwritten information. Each composition remains unframed.
Condition
- some wear to compositions includes small spots of paint loss, scratches, smudge marks, and peeling paper scattered throughout; minor fraying to canvas board edges.
