The composition is contained beneath a clear sky illuminated by the setting sun. To the lower right corner of the composition is a handwritten artist signature, which is dated January 8, 1935. The drawing is presented under glass in a silver tone wooden frame featuring gessoed foliate patterning and hanging wire to the verso.
