Item Details
A watercolor and gouache painting on board of a woman in red, by listed painter Richard Jerzy (1944-2001). This painterly work depicts the dark-haired figure in a black dress and red coat, her hat hanging from one hand. The piece, rendered with washy, feathery marks, is signed in pencil to its lower right and is presented under a taupe mat in a beveled wooden frame, a wire to its verso for hanging.
Condition
- chipping, paint loss, and wear to frame; some light wear to painting; protective glazing was damaged and has been removed.
