Vintage French Empire Style Maple Secretaire a' Abattant

Item Details

A vintage French empire style maple Secretaire a’ Abattant. The case features two female bust ormolu mounts on marble columns. The columns are lined with twisted wire and lead to the feet. The opened desk top has a leather insert with a gold stenciled border, six small drawers, and an arched mirror. Below are four drawers with silver-tone acantha leaf pulls. The piece has a bottom ledge and stands on bun feet. Unmarked.
