A signed original 1964 relief print on paper by 20th century Japanese printmaker Michiko Motoyama (元山道子), titled San. The print depicts an abstracted circular form reminiscent of an eyeball printed in various shades of orange and yellow with a gritty texture across its surface. The print is signed, titled, dated, and numbered ‘40’ and ‘20~1’ in graphite to the lower margin. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with dark brown painted finish and a hanging wire attached to the verso.

Condition

- paper is slightly yellowed. A few very small scratches to frame.
