A bronze sculpture titled Beauty with Birds after French artist Edmond Louis Charles Tassel (fl. c.1870 – 1900). This realistic piece presents a standing woman wrapped in a shawl, holding a bird in one hand against her face with another bird perched on her forearm. The fabric of the woman’s dress swirls around her body in elegant folds, pooling on the round bronze base, which is signed in mold. The bronze statue is mounted on a round marble base.
