Item Details
A mixed media collage on canvas board titled Enigma of the Gallery II by Chicago based artist Ronald Ahlström (1922 – 2012) . The work depicts a figurative scene using paper, marker, and oil paint. A contrast is made between the soft neutral tones created by oil paint and the brightly colored geometric shaped paper collage. Signed in marker to the bottom right. To the verso, a gallery description with the title is written in marker. Presented in a metal frame without glass.
Condition
- some scratches and wear around edge of frame; top of frame is crooked; canvas board is warped.
