A Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print on paper titled Chion-in Temple Gate (樓門, Rōmon) from the series Eight Scenes of Cherry Blossoms (櫻八題) by listed artist Yoshida Hiroshi (吉田 博, 1876-1950). This print depicts a group of people wearing colorful clothing climbing the considerable stairs to a large temple. The print is titled in English in graphite to the lower left corner and is signed by Yoshida in graphite to the lower right corner. The Japanese print and series titles are printed in the left margin alongside a jizuri ‘self-printed’ seal. The print is housed under glass in a wooden frame with a plant fiber liner and to the verso is literature about Yoshida Hiroshi.

- edge wear to frame; toning to paper; water damage to edges of paper; slightly dusty.
