Tufted Turkish-Style Wool Area Rug

A tufted Turkish-style wool area rug. The design features an open arrangement of herati worked in shades of green, saffron, buff, tan, rust, and faded red on an off-white field. The compound borders of stylized flowers and foliage combine with palmettes in the same palette. There is no fringe. A production number is written in black ink on the back of the rug. It has bound seams and a full backing to the underside.
