A watercolor and graphite mixed media illustration on paper by listed Michigan artist Richard Jerzy (1944 – 2001). The piece depicts an abstract beach landscape rendered in overlapping strokes of muted green, brown, blue, red, tan and grey hues. The work is signed ‘Jerzy’ in graphite to the lower right. It is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- slight toning to paper and matting; stain to mat at top left; minor scuffing, edge wear and dust to frame; residue present to glass; small tears to frame’s backing paper.
