Antique Victorian Oak Dry Sink

Item Details

An antique Victorian oak dry sink cabinet. The case comprises a back board with attached raised towel bar over a bowed rectangular top. Three drawers to the front feature brass bail pulls on rosette mounts and early machine-cut Knapp or ‘scallop and dowel’ joinery, a technique in use between 1867 and 1900. The drawers are joined by one paneled door. The cabinet stands on square tapered legs and includes a scalloped apron.
