An acrylic painting with colored pencil on academy board by J.M Broadus. This depicts a striped cat wearing a bright red bow, accompanied by a smaller cat who appears to be folding up the corner of the work, standing on a ledge above downtown Atlanta, beneath a cresent moon and starry sky. A billboard advertises the double feature of the Atlanta Road Show ‘Cats’. This work is signed in the bottom left and presented unframed.
Condition
- fair; there is some fading to the image; there are marks from abrasion on the exposed image surface; image is bordered by masking tape; academy board substrate is somewhat warped.
