A colored mezzotint on paper titled Brougham Castle Near the Junction of the Rivers Eamont and Lowther engraved by W. Say after a drawing by J.M.W. Turner. This mezzotint depicts a castle, which sits along the calm river bank. A rainbow breaks through the dark sky off to the left of the composition. It is signed and titled in plate. Published in London by W. B. Cook in 1825. It is marked in graphite to the bottom right ‘115’ and to the bottom center edge ‘6064.’ The mezzotint is presented loose without frame or mat.
