Gouache Illustrations of Actors in Period Costumes
Item Details
A collection of gouache illustrations of actors in period costumes. These three pieces depict several figures, one of which wears a mustache, in bonnets and dresses. One of the illustrations, all of which feature cut-out subjects adhered to toned paper, depicts a pair of figures holding what seems to be a disagreement. Each unframed piece has a pencil notation reading ‘1295’ toward its bottom edge and is presented unframed with a white mat for display.

- slight edge wear; residue to mat & paper; toning to paper.
