A terracotta reproduction sculpture of a woman’s head, in a Late Etruscan style. This piece features the woman’s head on a cuboid dark marble base, and is presented unsigned. To the underside of the base, a note reads ‘5th century BC Late Etruscan matron lady (possibly goddess), Partially fired terracotta, water damaged – (Limestone deposits about scalp) was full body statue at one time’.

Condition

- heavy edge wear to surface; limestone deposits to terracotta throughout.
