Item Details
A pairing of two mid twentieth century landscape oil paintings on canvas. The larger work depicts a tranquil farmhouse next to an arched bridge over a lazy stream. The painting is signed to the lower right by the artist. Also included is a small landscape painting depicting a narrow river flowing through a picturesque forest at the foot of a mountain. It is signed Almon to the lower left. Both paintings are presented in wood frames with hanging hardware to the reverse.
Condition
- discoloration and foxing to the linen band on the frames;
- large canvas has a dent to the lower left
