A Chinese wool Bakhtiari-style area rug from The Rug Gallery. This machine made rug features a geometric field in alternating floral ogee medallions filled with floral rondels and filler palmettes in a palette of blue, brown, green and red. It has a compound, floral border of lotus flowers and palmettes in reds, tan and brown on a scarlet field with forced abrash. It has hand-finished edges surrounding, with a Rug Gallery label to the verso. Made in China.
