A hand-knotted vintage Turkish or Kurdish wool area rug. It features a rectilinear floral pattern in a palette of reds, blues and tans, with arrow forms and large leaf and branch elements. It has a contrasting indigo border with a large samovar pattern in the field colors, overcast edges, and natural wool warp fringe to the ends. The rug may have had a prior restoration or repair to preserve the knotting. Unlabeled.
