An original ink and wash drawing of Cincinnati Hospital by an unknown artist. This drawing depicts an aerial view of Cincinnati Hospital. Horses and carriages along with trolley cars are visible on the streets surrounding the hospital. This monochromatic piece is colored with subtle sepia washes lending a feel of depth and dimension. The drawing is illegibly signed to the lower left. The title is mounted on the surrounding matting and is printed in relief on newsprint. This piece is presented in a white mat, behind glass, and in a carved wood frame with a decorative edge. To the verso, wired to hang.

Condition

- the matting appears to have been repainted and the title piece remounted. There is an intentation where the title was previously mounted. There are some areas of the mat where paint is not smooth. The wood frame has some decorative carving missing and one corner is damaged.
