A sterling silver flatware set for twelve by Wallace Silversmiths of Wallingford, CT (established 1871). This is in the William S. Warren designed Rose Point pattern, first introduced in 1934, which features pierced handles with intricate scrollwork and rose accents. This 104-piece set includes twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twelve teaspoons, twelve cream soup spoons, twelve iced tea spoons, eleven cocktail forks, two meat forks, two serving spoons, a pierced serving spoon, two pickle forks, and a ladle. These are also accompanied by twelve dinner knives, twelve butter spreaders, and a pie server with stainless steel blades. The forks and spoons are stamped ‘Wallace Sterling’ on the reverse, and the knives and pie server are marked ‘Wallace Sterling Handle Stainless Blade’ to the blades. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives, butter spreaders, and pie server with stainless blades, is 86.395 ozt.
