Jacobean Style Sideboard by West End Furniture of Rockford, Illinois

Item Details

A Jacobean style sideboard cabinet by West End Furniture, circa 1930s. It has a breakfront top with three aligned drawers, over two cabinet doors that open to a long drawer and open space. The center drawer has a lighter veneer front with center marquetry depicting a basket of fruit, surrounded by vines. The cabinet doors have burl veneer fronts. The drawers and doors all have bail pulls on circular rosette plates. Each corner has a turned baluster above a scrolled corbel, which extends down the side to the bun foot. The West End Furniture of Rockford, Illinois tag is to the interior of a drawer.
