Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine

Item Details

An early 20th century treadle operated Singer sewing machine and cabinet. The black machine is covered with ornate gilt and red transfer decoration. When not in use, it can be turned and lowered into the cabinet concealed under a separate wood cover The cabinet has six drawers, three on each side of the knee hole.

Condition

- cabinet finish is scratched, chipped, water stained and worn throughout; finish on the sewing machine and on the treadle and frame is dull and somewhat rusted; sewing machine was not tested for working condition.
