A vintage Jacobean style dining room table with leaf insert and set of six matching chairs, by West End Furniture of Rockford, Illinois.This set includes a rectangular top table with clipped corners, bookmatched veneer, and beveled edge with apron sides featuring fruit and bowl inlay motif to each corner. The table top includes a single leaf insert. It rises on three central baluster posts terminating on bun feet joined by stretchers to eight S-scroll legs with acanthus leaf carved knees terminating on bun feet.
Also includes six dining chairs, two with armrests, featuring a shell carved cartouche and curved crest rail with upholstered back and seat rising on S-scroll legs with acanthus leaf carved detail joined by a cross stretcher and terminating on bun feet. The chairs are upholstered in a beige fabric with floral pattern. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Matching sideboard is item 17CHI143-010 and matching cabinet in 17CHI143-003.
