Pair of Vintage Prints of Children
Item Details
A pair of vintage offset lithographs of illustrations of children. The first depicts a babe in a diaper crying as a large yellow butterfly approaches it. The second is after an original illustration by well-listed American genre artist Frances Tipton Hunter (1896 – 1957), titled Blowing Bubbles. It depicts a young girl in a stunning flower garden blowing bulbous iridescent bubbles. It is signed and titled in-plate. Both are presented behind glass in a wooden frames and are equipped to hang.
Condition
- to fair. Both are slightly yellowed and have light wear to frames.
