A Chippendale style mahogany television chest by Dixie. This rectangular top chest with beveled edge features two cabinet doors with brass key handles opening to a storage space with pieced backing. The cabinet doors sit above four full width, stacked drawers with dovetail joinery, brass pierced batwing plates, and bail handles. The chest is flanked by reeded column stiles. The chest sits on a beveled base and terminates on ogee bracket feet. The back is marked ‘Dixie Television Chest Made in USA’.
