Antique Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique chest of drawers with marble top. This tall piece has a raised step back ledge with three drawers, all with rounded fronts, flame veneer, and round knob to the center. The main top surface is topped by a slab of cream colored marble with grey veining. It has four stacked drawers, all with burl veneer, two wooden knobs, center escutcheon, and hand cut dovetail joints. The front framing and sides have flame veneer. The rounded bracket feet are accented by curled spandrels. The unfinished back is composed of horizontally set and framed boards. The marble slab is removable.
