Hand-Pulled Lithograph after Joan Miró Aquatint "La Métamorphose"
Item Details
A hand-pulled lithograph on wove paper with deckled edges after an original 1978 aquatint etching by very well-listed Spanish abstract artist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983), titled La Métamorphose. The print depicts an abstracted composition illustrated in Miró’s signature red, green, blue, blue, and black palette. The print is signed in-plate to the lower right. It is mounted to a blue backing, matted in white, and presented behind glass in a thin black metal frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso. A certificate of authenticity is housed in an envelope to the verso, though it contains some misinformation.
