Item Details
A mixed media collage on board of an abstracted composition by Chicago based artist Ronald Ahlström (1922 – 2012) . The work depicts found materials like newspaper collage with thicker paper in geometric shapes. Acrylic paint, markers, and spray paint are also used throughout the piece to complete the composition. Signed in marker to the bottom right corner. To the verso, previous gallery description is written in marker. Presented in a black painted metal frame without glass.
Condition
- some wear around the edges of the frame; Small paint mark to the top frame; work could benefit from a cleaning; areas of paper collage are coming undone.
